The purpose of the Hamburg Climate Futures Outlook 2023 is to systematically analyze and assess the plausibility of certain well-defined climate futures based on present knowledge of social drivers and physical processes.
The synthesis focuses on the overarching research question of possible and plausible climate futures, which CLICCS regularly assesses on the basis of current research results. The results are published regularly in the Hamburg Climate Futures Outlook series.
