Directions: 

Directions from the train station (travel time: ca. 15 min):
Please take urban railway (“S-Bahn”) train S21 or S31, or the subway train (“U-Bahn”) U3, to the stop at Sternschanze. There you need to switch to the Number 15 Bus heading to Alsterchaussee and get out at Bundesstraße. From there it’s only 200 m by foot.
Alternative route: Take S-Bahn S21 or S31 to the stop at Dammtor, then switch to the Number 5 Bus heading to Burgwedel/Nedderfeld, or to the Number 4 Bus heading to Wildacker. Stay on the bus for two stops, then get off at Grindelhof. Once on foot, turn left onto Rentzelstraße, then turn right onto Bundesstraße. Total of ca. 600 m by foot.

From the airport (travel time: ca. 30 min):
Take urban railway (“S-Bahn”) train S1 to the stop at Ohlsdorf. From there take the subway train (“U-Bahn”) U1 heading to Farmsen and get out at Kellinghusenstraße. Here you’ll switch to the U3 heading to the Hauptbahnhof and get out at Schlump. From there it’s only a 5-minute walk.

By car from the A7 (Elbtunnel):
Take the exit marked “Bahrenfeld.” Turn onto Bahrenfelder Chaussee, heading for the city. Continue straight ahead on the Stresemannstraße/B4 (2.5 km total). Turn left at the Holstenstraße S-Bahn rail station onto Alsenstraße, which becomes Doormannsweg and later Schulweg. After ca. 250 m turn right onto Osterstraße, which becomes Bundesstraße after ca. 700 m.

By car from the A1 (Elbbrücken):
On the autobahn A1 look for the signs to the city center (“Centrum”), then turn onto the B4/Veddeler Brückenstraße. Turn left onto B4/Amsinckstraße, drive past the train tracks (Hauptbahnhof) and continue on straight ahead to B4/Willy-Brandt-Straße (which turns into Ludwig-Erhard-Straße and later Budapester Straße) until you reach Neuer Pferdemarkt (a total of ca. 3.3 km). Keep to the right to continue onto Schanzenstraße. After 900 m turn right onto Kleiner Schäferkamp. Continue straight ahead (the street name changes to Beim Schlump) and take the second right onto Bundesstraße.
